Founded by award winning photographer in 2006, Michael Effiong is one of the finest photographers in the DFW Area and beyond

I started shooting in 2006, back then, I used film camera, I think my first camera was FUJIFILM!. I shot birthday parties and very intimate wedding events. I miss developing pictures in the dark room. I can say my style of pictures is for it to to tell stories. I love modern, rustic, story telling  and country. I've shot weddings in these categories, and enjoyed all of it.

What made you get into wedding photography?

Weddings are the single most lovely events in the history of photography (my opinion). You get to see two people professing their love for each other. The tears are real and the laughter is genuine from the depth of their soul.

What type of equipment do you use?

I have a Nikon D5, D750 & D3s I shoot all primes with an exception of a 70-200mm lens. Other than that my collection includes a 24mm, 50mm, 105mm and a 85mm. I edit with Lightroom/PhotoShop, I also use a 27' iMAC and MacBook Pro 16’. Sometimes if I'm on a flight, or, on the go, I edit with the MacBook Pro which gives me a little flexibility.

Read what our clients say....

I work with Michael and gave him a chance to produce some high quality shots for our business and he did an outstanding job. His work far exceeded my expectations. After seeing this, I hired him for my son’s first birthday party. The photos turned out perfect. He is timely, creative, and offers exceptionally reasonable prices considering the high quality of his work.
